Housing Choice Voucher/Section 8 Program Waiting List
Homestead Housing Authority (HHA) will be accepting preliminary applications for the Section 8/Housing Choice Voucher Wait list online beginning on August 28th, 2023 at 8:00AM. The application will be closed on Friday, September 1st, 2023 at 5:00 PM. To be eligible to be placed on the waiting list, the Head of the Household MUST be 18 years of age or older. Applications must meet all U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) income and eligibility requirements. The total household annual gross income must not exceed the very-low income limits for the appropriate family size as listed in the Income Limits Table appearing at the end of this Public Notice.
Preliminary applications must be completed online only. If you wish to apply you will need to login to the following website homesteadfl.housingmanager.com. Please ensure that you complete all the required fields of the application or it will not be successfully submitted at the end. If your application is successfully submitted you will receive a receipt confirming the submission. Note: Homestead Housing Authority will not have any applications for distribution.
APPLICANT SELECTION:
HHA will conduct a random lottery of all eligible applications to fill 2500 positions on the 2023 HHA Section 8/Housing Choice Voucher wait list. The time and date of application submission has no bearing on the position of applicants on the wait list. There is no advantage to applying immediately after the list opens.

La aplicación sera cerrada el viernes 1 de Septiembre del 2023 a las 05:00 PM. Para ser eligible para estar en la lista de espera, el jefe de familia DEBE tener 18 años de edad o más. Las aplicaciones deben cumplir con los requisitos del Departamento de Vivienda y Desarrollo Urbano (HUD) en referencia a su ingreso y eligibilidad. El ingreso bruto anual total del hogar no debe exceder los límites de ingresos muy bajos para el tamaño adecuado de la familia, como se muestra en la Tabla de Límites de Ingresos que aparece al final de este Anuncio Público.
Las formas preliminarias para solicitud deberán ser completadas a través del internet solamente. Si Usted quiere aplicar deberá usar la página de internet de HHA homesteadfl.housingmanager.com.
